The FTE purchase philosophy

The purchasing department of FTE automotive is the internationally acting partner for our development department, our works and our suppliers. We look for intensive and long-term relationships with suppliers, in order to reach optimum quality and efficiency. Thus we contribute considerably to the success of our enterprise. Our efficient suppliers are to support actively together with us the following basic ideas:

• Customer satisfaction: Our customers are always the focus of our acting. They expect highest quality, reliability, innovativeness and competitiveness from us. The goals of our purchasing department aim at the requirements and the satisfaction of our customers.
   
• Quality Responsibility: Our suppliers know and live the quality requirements of the automobile industry and possess a QM-system. They pursue the thought of the "zero-error strategy" and take responsibility for the quality of their products.
  
  
• Cost Responsibility: In order to be able to compete in the global competition, we depend in an increasing degree on market-driven quotations of our suppliers. We expect from our suppliers the readiness for agreements of price targets and the systematic development and conversion of realisation of rationalization - and saving potentials.
  
  
• Industrial Safety and Environment: Industrial safety and environmental protection are important components of our enterprise strategy. Therefore we maintain an industrial safety and environmental management system and are certified according to OHRIS and ISO 14001. Also from our suppliers we expect that they keep the legal industrial safety and environment regulations as minimum requirement. We also expect the careful use of natural resources that they supply reliable and environmental compatible products and that they prove the appropriate management systems.
  
  
• Partnership co-operation: In co-operation with our suppliers we pursue a philosophy of long-term and fair co-operation to the mutual satisfaction. Suppliers are partners, which possess the ability to fulfill the high customer requirements with us. We bind our suppliers early into the development process, in order to realize together the optimal quality of all purchased products as well as of the final products.
